Did Allen Iverson QUIT on the SIXERS?

First thing first, Allen Iverson has been the "man" for the last decade. Coming out of his illustrious and unsettled path from VA than onto Georgetown. Iverson has always gone against the grain and mainstream expectations. Iverson's killer "crossover" was before it's time. He carried the legacy of the crossover from Tim Hardaway and "Palmed" his way to become an awesome scorer and an eventual Hall Fame career. Iverson simply changed the game! He changed rules, made Refs more vigilant of his handles. Jordan brought Hip Hop to the NBA and Iverson carried the torch. Iverson can play the one or two guard spot by his evident assist totals in recent years. People can point and quarrel about his shot selection. But, Iverson is a STRAIGHT UP baller.

Remember, he was the first player to leave the HOYAS'awesome disciplinarian coach John Thompson without graduating. John Thompson and the VA governor gave him his first bball opportunity, than Iverson seized his opportunity, and without looking back, went forward to change a mentality and the game. Thus far in his Hall Fame career, his career numbers speak for themselves.

28 points,6.14 Assists,3.9 rebs,Fg 42 %&FT 77.8%.

and your worried about PRACTICE!
PRACTICE!

He has sold as many game jerseys as anyone within the last decade. This fact has lined the New York league office's pockets and increasing their bottom line of global marketing projections. He sells out arenas across the country as a pivotal attendance draw. He has middle class and upper class American kids "corn rolling" their hair and wearing his jersey to bed at night, while maintaining his much valued street credibility. He decided on Reebok early in his career, their relationship seems to be fruitful as ever. He was one of the main reasons why Papa Stern sent the Sixers to Barcelona this summer. Iverson was treated like a rock star in Spain. Many people have benefited from the emergence of Allen Iverson over the years.

So did Iverson give up on the loyal and passionate town, we call Philly?

NO

While many detractors always comment on his "attitude" and "troubles" with the law in the past. Iverson left John Thompson and his boy/teammate Victor Paige (HOYAS SUPREME), and has grown over the last decade amongst our eyes into a MAN. Iverson will always have his detractors and haters because that it is usually the "penalty of Leadership is Jealousy"- Jay-Z. Iverson has won his MVP award, numerous all-star appearances and has definitely played INJURIED and represented the SIXERS community for years. Iverson has been loyal, passionate and a fierce competitor. Even Shaq called him the toughest player in the league. So now that he has proven his worth for a decade, I repeat 10 YEARS. Iverson is finally realizing that he has to take care of his family, endeavors and his goal of winning a championship before it is way too late.

The days of Stockton and Miller are over. Loyalty for one team is over.
Ask Steve Nash or Ben Wallace, free agency, money and self-interest governs the NBA landscape today.

The NBA is a Business.

Iverson's best team was the Larry Brown coached, Mutumbo, Aaron McKie, Eric Snow squad. So when quality players surrounded Iverson in their prime, with an excellent coach, he has proven that he can win in the league. He brought Philly to the promise land. He also stole a game in the championship from the Laker monster dynasty team. Lastly, Philly has been quietly and publicly shopping Iverson to buyers for at least two years. So now that Iverson is trying to control his own destiny. In some circles, He is being depicted as a selfish player that now puts "I" in team.

While I respect Maurice Cheeks' point guard game back in the day, he also seems like a very very decent man. But, He cannot coach. Look at Sammy Dalembert’s minutes when healthy over the last two years. Despite C-Webb requests, injuries have stolen his game over the last few years. Kyle Korver has improved from just a shooter recently. Igoudala has potential. But based on the talent, this team lacks a Strategy or a Vision. This current Philly team is not going to win a Championship for the faithful. So while Philly fans will be vex on his departure.

ALLEN IVERSON IS NOT TERRELL OWENS!

Sometimes in life, ALL GOOD THINGS AND BAD THINGS have to come to an END!

Philly has to move on...

There is NO QUIT in IVERSON.

BILLY KING and ownership should deal wisely,

Billy King should give a call to ROB BABCOCK and ask for 1 on 1 advice on
How to trade a disgruntled Superstar? Just Kidding!

Rob Babcock almost single handedly destroyed the Raptor franchise with his decisions?

So let's sit back objectively and see how this situation plays out? Remember

Random Thoughts: Supreme Style

Did the Suns realize how good he is? Boris Diaw saved them this year! Is it just me or Is Joe Johnson (JJ) mad underated? No prime time games on TNT or ESPN for him out in Jermaine Dupree's Atlanta. Is JJ the best kept secret in the league. His on the ball defending has been superb, and been on showcase throughout the worlds championship.

Chris Mullin just saved his job for a little bit longer. He could not move Troy Murphy or Dunleavy in the offseason, so hire Don Nelson to save the ship from sinking. Baron Davis will have no more excuses anymore!

Is Argentina better than Spain? Manu and company vs the Bearded Assassin Pau Gasol and Jose Manuel Calderon

Did Chris Bosh get exposed at the Worlds? Bryan Colangelo wants to play an uptempo style this upcoming season like his Phoenix days. Bosh did not play well early in the tournament? So will he be able to adapt to the up tempo style next year.

Riley is back for another run to defend the crown?

Darko, Darko looked decent at the Worlds? 18points 15 rebs, Did Joe Dumars make a mistake in trading Darko and/or not drafting the Melo man?

Is Sprewell crazy?

Tri-Captains, I never heard that before? Coach K had to create a new leadership term along with his Hall fame career?

Marco Bellenalli- the new "Italian Job" sharpshooter of 07-08.

Al Harrington goes back to Indy, but watch out for JOSH " I now have a jump shot" Smith.

Iverson's Mom buys a team! Mutumbo buys a Hospital. They are both making huge moves! Big up

Barganni, Rudy Gay, Foye, Roy, who is going to be the Rookie of the Year!!

I thought it was fitting to end the blog today with Brand tearing down the rim.
The modern day Barkley, Undersized PF but always plays BIG.... and above the RIM!

July 28 Charlotte re-signs restricted free agent Bernard Robinson.
(Provides back court depth for Jordan's crew. Shown glimpses of solid production late last year)

Thu,
July 27 Toronto signs 2005 second-round draft pick Uros Slokar.
(The raptors were terrible in rebounding last year maybe Slokar can help in that department)

New Jersey acquires Mikki Moore from Seattle for a 2009 second-round draft pick.
(Jersey is trying desperately to shore up their defienicies down low; Moore will help, but not the solution)

Orlando re-signs restricted free agent Trevor Ariza.
(Ariza can jump out the building, but has to develop other aspects of his game to survive and prove worthiness)

Phoenix signs unrestricted free agent Sean Marks.
(Big Man addded to the roster to help in the playoffs. He must be good friends with Nash)

Wed,
July 26 Boston signs undrafted rookie free agent Kevin Pittsnogle.
(Ainge was very crafty to sign him, when he was considered to be 2nd rounder)

Denver signs undrafted rookie free agent Yakhouba Diawara.
(Wait and see approach)

Houston signs second-round draft pick Steve Novak.
(Wait and see approach)

New Orleans/Oklahoma City signs unrestricted free agent Bobby Jackson and re-signs unrestricted free agent Rasual Butler.
(Big signings for the Hornets. These signings add depth and veteran leadership, JAX should be a starter by now)

Toronto signs restricted free agent Fred Jones; releases Alvin Williams.
(Jones brings athleticism to the Raps, Alvin Williams is a class act. He will be missed!!)

Tue,
July 25 Dallas re-signs unrestricted free agent Jason Terry.
(Solid signing for Cuban. Could not let another Nash situation to errupt. Terry is the straw that mixes the drink for the Western Conference Champ)

Milwaukee signs second-round draft pick Damir Markota.
(Who? Who? wait and see aproach)

Toronto signs second-round draft pick P.J. Tucker.
(Brings hard work and toughness to the raps. A little undersized for the 3 spot)

Mon,
July 24 Detroit signs second-round pick Will Blalock.
(Pistons still stinging from the loss of BIG BEN WALLACE) Will Blalock wait and see aproach)

Indiana acquires Darrell Armstrong, Rawle Marshall and Josh Powell from Dallas for Anthony Johnson.
(Rawle Marshall looked alright in summer league. Armstrong a salary cap causality and Anthony Johnson goes from a potential starter to backing up the JET and Devin Harris) Johnson is CUBAN's playoff insurance for late May and June)

Sacramento signs free agents John Salmons, Eugene Jeter and Justin Williams.
(Salmons is multi faceted player that will help the Kings. He did not like Toronto for some reason and gets more money for his decision GUTS!!)

Toronto signs free agent Jorge Garbajosa.
(Rugged Intl player from overseas. Welcome to the NBA where players have to find a way to feed their KIDS on million dollar salaries!! Nocioni better watch his back!)
Fri,
July 21 San Antonio signs restricted free agent Jackie Butler.
(Jackie Butler is amazing. In one summer he is playing with Eddy Curry and Co. and now he plays with a future hall of famer in Tim Duncan. Spurs overpayed him. But I never criticize Spurs Management)

Thu,
July 20 Denver re-signs restricted free agent NenĂª; acquires J.R. Smith via trade from Chicago for Howard Eisley and two 2007 second-round draft picks.
(I am not sure NENE is worth all that money. His contract set the table for the rest of the league negoitation. J.R Smith cannot shoot, but maybe Karl will get to the kid and teach him some basketball IQ)

Phoenix signs unrestricted free agent Marcus Banks to multi-year contract.
(Banks to give Nash's Back a rest. I would not complain if I got to throw alley hoops to Marion or Amare)

Wed,
July 19 Charlotte signs unrestricted free agent Othella Harrington.
(This signing was for all the Georgetwon Alumni in the world. The bench always needs a be warm with someone)

Detroit re-signs unrestricted free agent Lindsey Hunter.
(Brings Veteran Leadership and lock down one on one defender on the perimeter. Hunter will keep all the Pistons members honest)

Houston signs 2004 second-round draft pick Vassilis Spanoulis to a multi-year contract.
(Wait and see approach)

Washington signs unrestricted free agent Darius Songaila.
(Wizards are trying to bring in a down low presence for Arenas. Songaila will fit in nicely, but are the wizards just looking in for a fit in player down low?) Makes no sense to bring in roster filler players.

Tue,
July 18 Boston signs second-round pick Leon Powe.
(Strong kid, looked alright in summer league)

Charlotte re-signs restricted free agent Kevin Burleson.
(Wait and see approach)

Detroit signs unrestricted free agents Nazr Mohammed and Flip Murray.
(Nazr will try and fill the gap and the loss of BIG BIG Ben Wallace and Flip Murray off the bench does not seem like Piston's ball to me)

Milwaukee signs unrestricted free agent Lynn Greer to a multi-year contract.
(John Chaney 11th NBA signing in his awesome career in Temple. Philly Philly! Do you guys remember Mark Macon?

Mon,
July 17 Boston signs Paul Pierce to a contract extension.
(Red Aurebach just lit up one of his imfamous cigars. Pierce is the truth as always, but will need help to make some playoff noize)

Charlotte names Fred Whitfield president and chief operating officer.
(Michael Jordan's good pal from his Jordan Brand and Wizard days. Jordan is making his imprint on the Bobcat organization)

Portland signs Joel Przybilla to a contract extension.
(Przybilla stayed loyal and remained with the Blazers. Let hope he can stay healthy and contribute at the 5 spot)

Sat,
July 15 Washington signs coach Eddie Jordan to a contract extension.
(Abe Pollin came to his senses. Eddie Jordan can flat out coach. He needs one or two more pieces to make some real playoff noise)

Fri,
July 14 Golden State waives Will Bynum.
(Off to Europe we go. He did not look good in summer league) They sayleague competition is fierce. You get one shot to make at times)

Houston acquires Kirk Snyder from New Orleans/Oklahoma City for a conditional 2008 second-round pick.
(Snyder will bring heart and toughness to Rockets. Van Gundy likes these type of players. Van Gundy must realize he does not coach in MSG in the mid 90's anymore. T-Mac will always need proper elite suppport not Clarence witherspoon type support to win a Crown)

New Orleans/Oklahoma City acquires Tyson Chandler from Chicago for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith.
(Tyson Chandler has been a disappointment thus far based on his expectations. BUT playing with Chris Paul will make anyone better. Expect a breakout from him. He should definitely improve in the Hornets rotation less convulted than the Bulls)

Toronto signs Chris Bosh to long-term extension.
(Colangelo has decided wisely that this is the face of his franchise for 3 years. Bosh is a monster in the making. Bosh officially has the Vinsanity role in Toronto. Needs to play closer to the Paint to make LBJ, D-Wade, Brand Impact )

Thu,
July 13 Chicago signs unrestricted free agent Ben Wallace.
(Ben Wallace blood changed from Piston Blue to Bulls Red. He will bring much needed defense post presence. Biggest impact signing of the summer!)

Dallas signs free agent Greg Buckner and re-signs DJ Mbenga.
( I am not sure on the Buckner Signing. I guess he will play with Stack and Josh. DJ Mbenga another big body to bang Shaq possible in the playoffs. Avery is a wise man)

L.A. Clippers sign unrestricted free agent Tim Thomas and second-round pick Paul Davis.
(Quite frankly this signing was very disrespectful to Cory Maggette, Tim Thomas remains a streaky shooter when he gets hot, pretty nice to watch but he never contributes in any other category.)

L.A. Lakers sign unrestricted free agents Vladimir Radmanovic and Shammond Williams.
(Good signing for the Lakers, the y need an outside threat for KOBE8. Vlad will show Jackson that he remains soft. Shammond Williams this could be his last chance to impress NBA brass. He has to understand he is no longer with Vince at UNC. He is in a MAN league)

Memphis signs rookie free agent Tarence Kinsey.
(Wait and see approach. At the Basketball Supreme you have to play it safe)

Miami signs Dwyane Wade to long-term extension.
(When Shaq gave him the MVP trophy to D-Wade at the finals. He official passed the torch! Only Lebron and D-Wade can really carry the torch into the future)

Minnesota signs unrestricted free agent Mike James.
(The Raptors did him greasy with their offer) But, he did the Raptors greasy with his hogging mentality late in the season. MikeJames, Ricky Davis and the BIG TICKET KG could make some noise this year!

Orlando signs restricted free agent Keith Bogans.
(Bogans brings insurance to Orlando, Since DeShawn Stevenson did not decide to join us. Bogans will play hard every night)

Phoenix signs unrestricted free agent Eric Piatkowski.
(Shooting, Shooting, Shooting, and more Shooting, Shooting, Shooting and more Shooting, Suns bring in a Vet to get that late minute three!

Toronto signs unrestricted free agent Anthony Parker and waives Andre Barrett.
(Antony Parker is all world International player for many years. He seems very mature and ready to final take the step into the NBA. Bryan Colangelo (BC) is really trying to make up a TEL AVIV RAPTORS.

Utah re-signs unrestricted free agent Jarron Collins.
(7 footers are always hard to find. Six fouls means alot in this league for some reason....)

Wed,
July 12 Atlanta signed free-agent guard Speedy Claxton and second-round pick Solomon Jones.
(Speedy Claxton is finally given the opportunity to run the show. He should flourish in ATL. If he does not than something is very wrong!

Cleveland signs LeBron James to long-term extension.
(Lebron (LBJ) is the LEAGUE period! This man runs the league, this man has become the league and this man is the league! Lebron is ART

Dallas acquires Austin Croshere from Indiana for Marquis Daniels.
(When Austin Croshere wakes up in the morning he sees Keith Van Horn. So that means Van Horn is gone. Marquis Daniels has a shot to be good in Indiana more playing time should improve his bottomline)

Denver signs Carmelo Anthony to long-term extension.
(Carmelo Anthony is the truth! He always gets overlooked for All-Star game. Carmelo is nasty and will have to carry Denver on his B-More Shoulders to get NBA LEAGUE RESPECT) Street Cred is enormous, but the Streets do not buy tickets to games.

Golden State acquires Devin Brown, Keith McLeod and Andre Owens from Utah for Derek Fisher.
(Devin Brown is a solid young player that needs a little bit more consistency. McLeod is honest and Golden State loses their GLUE, Derek Fisher. Fisher still contriubtes very well to an organization. Utah will benefit from Fisher leadership and presence. Golden State wanted to save some money! Utah gets more wins because of it!

Indiana re-signs Peja Stojakovic and trades him to New Orleans/Oklahoma City in exchange for the draft rights to Andrew Betts.
(Anyone who knows me well. Knows that I cannot stand PEJA! BUT, PEJA going to NewOrleans with Paul should rejunevate his career because A: Chris Paul B: He likes Bryon Scott and C: Larry Bird and Donnie Walsh would not tolerate his nonsense and D: Pressure with his enormously inflated contract! E: Injuries

L.A. Clippers re-sign free agent Sam Cassell.
(Sam Cassell is a borderline Hall of Famer! Yes I said " Hall of Famer"! I will tell you why, for some reason every team he goes too, he makes the team simply BETTER! Sam has this uncanny ability to make others better and plays with passion that one can only learn from the Baltimore streets! And he entertains you when you watch a Clipper game. He is slowing down now due to age. But SAM I AM is one of B-More finest!

Memphis aquires Stromile Swift and draft rights to Rudy Gay from Houston for Shane Battier; signs Rudy Gay.
(Jerry West does it again, Jerry West is absolutely embarassed that Memphis has not won a playoff game. So he steals Rudy Gay, a potential top 5 pick from the Rockets. Yes, the Rockets get Battier- ALL TEAM Player. But, Rudy Gay can really become a polished NBA Player with work ethic! THE LOGO strikes again!

New Jersey signs first-round picks Marcus Williams and Josh Boone.
Marcus Williams is the STEAL of the DRAFT! I repeat STEAL of the Draft! Josh Boone shoulder is suspect but the Marlyand kid will play hard once healthy! ROD THORN is smart!

New Orleans/Oklahoma City waives Arvydas Macijuaskas.
Oh really, I am so so sad!

Philadelphia re-signs restricted free agents Willie Green and Shavlik Randolph.
(I hope Willie Green is fully returns to good health. He got some game. Shavlik Randolph once a Dukie, Always a DUKIE

San Antonio signs free agent Jacque Vaughn.
( I thought Allen Iverson ended his career last year with his Killer Crossover, But Jacque Vaughn always gets a job somewhere. POP will love him)

Seattle signs 2005 second-round pick Mickael Gelabale.
(Wait and see approach)

Utah re-signs unrestricted free agent Matt Harpring.
( I love the throwback players, Matt Harpring if this was football would make the ALL-Madden Team!

Mon,
July 10 Atlanta signs first-round pick Shelden Williams.
( I really like this kid, I think he had potential. Until I saw him in Summer League. He will have to find his niche quick in the NBA. He has the size and college experience to be good. But he will have to define his game in the PRO's)

Seattle signs first-round pick Saer Sene.
( Athletic Big Man, that plays with pace. Seatle might have gotten a steal. They should give him a decent try down low!
Sun,
July 9 Miami signs Daniel Horton.
(If your not D-Wade, Shaq or Riles in Miami nobody cares... Fans are sipping Mai-Tai in South Beach, talking about ZO Block in transition in game 6

Orlando signs second-round pick James Augustine.
(Wait and see means to the Supreme massive. Who is this guy?)

Philadelphia signs first-round pick Rodney Carney and second-round pick Bobby Jones.
(Billy King was more interested in trading AI this draft, I hope Rodney Carney and Bobby Jones produce. That got some cool names! LOL
Sat,
July 8 Cleveland signs first-round pick Shannon Brown and second-round pick Daniel Gibson.
(Shannon Brown will play plenty o f minutes in the league. He looked great in Summer League. Plus Lebron knows him from High school days)

Miami signs Vincent Grier.
(Oh really, you should have told me)

Fri,
July 7 Chicago waives Othella Harrington.
(Tyrus Thomas means that Othella is looking for a Job) Business is tough)

Golden State signs first-round pick Patrick O’Bryant.
(Mullin messed up with this one. Nice Guy, plays very timid. Let's hope he improves with age like WINE! ) GS needs players now not later!

Indiana exercises the option on Danny Granger and David Harrison for the 2007-08 season.
( I really like Danny Grangers' game. I think with hard work and consistency, he can become an excellent player in the league. Harrison is not bad either!

Memphis signs first-round pick Kyle Lowry.
( Kyle Lowry is another Jerry West steals. Jerry West can simply scout. He should get some playing time immediately according to recent press conference!

Orlando signs first-round pick J.J. Redick.
( J.J Redick must be left alone. This guy has so much pressure to succeed at Duke. Redick has a gift that much players do not have. He can flat out SHOOT. ! J.J Redick = Del Curry. J.J Redick = Steve Kerr, J.J Redick= Jeff Hornacek, J.J Redick =Eddie Johnson, Redick will respond nicely for Orlando.)

Thu,
July 6 Boston exercises the option on Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Sebastian Telfair and Delonte West for the 2007-08 season; signs Allan Ray.
(Boston signs up their youth movement. It shows that Ainge can scout! But Boston fans I think now, wants a winner! They have not won properly since Ainge was in a CELTS uniform. So Ainge might have to package some of his youth off. To keep the fans happy. .500 ball is not good enough for one the league's most storied franchise. Ask Bill Russell if he ever lost anything!

Charlotte signs first-round pick Adam Morrison.
Micheal Jordan and Bernie Bickerstaff made a wise decision. They have to sell seats and Adam can play. So it is a WIN- WIN situation. Plus you keep Bob Johnson happy. Morrison will be solid with his new role in Charlotte. Fenton to Morrison for years to come!

Indiana signs first-roud pick Shawne Williams and second-round pick James White.
(Bird signs his eye on the prize; Shawne Williams and he get much heralded high school and college prep James White from Cincy)

Miami signs Mike Gansey and Chris Quinn.
(Riley likes players that can make threes. Mike Gansey is slow but he can shoot and he played hard in college)

Orlando names John Kuester assistant coach.
(Good for him) A Life as assistant coach is not easy. I have respect anyone who partakes as Assistant. Part-time coach, Part-time Socialist, Part-Time scout, Part-Time mediator for Egos and lastly no sleep and no fame until your a HEAD COACH!

Wed,
July 5 Chicago names Jim Paxson basketball operations consultant.
(Well Reinsdorf keeps it in the family. JIM PAXSON has done a great job with his draft and free agent signings!

Los Angeles Lakers sign first-round pick Jordan Farmar.
(Jordan Farmar moves from UCLA to LAKERS, not a big trip from College to the Pros. Just remember one thing in LA. KOBE is the SHOW!

Minnesota signs first-round pick Randy Foye.
(Randy Foye will be rock solid. This kid is the truth. His heart is on his right side of his chest. He raised himself with good friends when his mother left him in Kindergarden. I love this Kid. Foye =Courage. KG will teach him the ropes. KG will ensure he will succeed! KG a mentor WOW! 10 years ago KG was the kid. TIME flys...

New Orleans/Oklahoma City signs first-round picks Hilton Armstrong and Cedric Simmons; waives Moochie Norris.
(Nice pick up of Big men for the Hornets, Hilton under Calhoun, and Simmons is athletic. This must be translated to the NBA.

New York signs first-round picks Renaldo Balkman and Mardy Collins.
(ISIAH ISIAH ISIAH ISIAH ISIAH.... You will be expected to pull off a mircle this year! Balkman hard worker and plays D. But not a first round!! ISIAH has many school kids in New York praying for him before they go to bed!

Portland waives Nikoloz Tskitishvili.
( Oh really, the world should come to a halt)

Tue,
July 4 Boston signs first-round pick Rajon Rondo.
(Scrappy young point guard, plays Defense and will contribute if given time. He very unorthodox in style, but gets the job done)

Portland signs first-round picks LaMarcus Aldridge and Brandon Roy.
LaMarcus Aldrige is soft and stiff but could develop into a nice jump shooting big MEN. BRANDON ROY IS THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!
You read it here first at the BASKETBALL SUPREME! )

Mon,
July 3 Milwaukee signs second-round pick David Noel.
(Wait and see) Played hard in College

Sacramento signs first-round pick Quincy Douby.
(Quincy Douby is a Rutgers kid, that filled up in College. Solid shooter, looked alright in Summer league. But Kings seem to have that type of player on their roster. They need toughness an d D to go further in the playoffs!
Sat,
July 1 Dallas signs first-round pick Maurice Ager.
(Michigan State Alumni, Every year Michigan State players before every game make a circle and sway side to side before player introductions and every year since 79, they pop out good players out of that circle. Ager will be fine in the league. Avery likes him!

Sacramento exercises the option on Kevin Martin for the 2007-08 season.
(Kevin Martin is a crafty skilled baller that can shoot. He will be in the rotation heavy this year for the KINGS. Another weapon at Bibby's disposal)

Toronto signs first-round pick Andrea Bargnani
(Bargnani can shoot the lights out, proven in Summer league. But he does not rebound well enough for my liken for a 7 footer. He also is little slow. But he can flat out shoot. With proper development and keen instruction, he does have the upside to be really good. Is he a true #1 pick? No, but these comparison to Dirk and Gasol are way unfair and overhyped. He will develop into his own likeness. He will contribute for the Raps this year. But, he will probably come off the bench to reduce his weakness. Bargnani will be good in 4 years not now. Sam Mitchell will have to show him the ropes and if he can make him adjust to the league sooner rather than later. It will lengthen his own Raptor career.

Top 2006 NBA Free Agents for this SUMMER!!!

Supreme Analysis

Ben Wallace, PF/C, Detroit -Cream of the crop but Dumars is not letting him go! Hell no! Heart and soul.

Jason Terry, PG, Dallas - Cuban is no fool, D-Harris backs him up. But Dirk seems to like Terry. Cuban might trade him!
Peja Stojakovic, SF, Indiana (Player option)- Injury prone shooter, No defense. Back problem. I do not like him. Amazing shooter when wide open.
Al Harrington, PF, Atlanta -ATL has promise with a nice talented nucleus. They need to play D. ATL should keep him.
Mike James, Toronto (Player option) - Dashed up plenty of shots this year; long term contract. Has heart. a 2 guard in a point gaurd body.
Chris Wilcox, PF, Seattle (Restricted) -Seatle traded for him for a reason. He will play more consistent in the future.
Nene, PF/C, Denver (Restricted) - Denver needs him badly. With Kenyon and Karl in constant beef. Nene is overrated.

Drew Gooden, PF, Cleveland (Restricted) - Plays with heart. Cleveland need to keep the nucleus together.

Matt Harpring, SG/SF, Utah - A solid veteran that plays hard every night.
Joel Przybilla, C, Portland - A commodity not too many centers around. Toronto or Chicago should be knocking shortly.
Ronald Murray, Cleveland - A streaky player, tries to play D. He has toughness
Speedy Claxton, PG, New Orleans - A solid point guard not maybe a starter. But a solid veteran addition to a team.
Vladimir Radmanovic, SF/PF, LA Clippers - Clips like him. They did not trade for him to let him go. He has no D.
Jared Jeffries, Washington (Restricted) - All purpose role team player. But he needs to play with more heart and consistency.
James Posey, SG/SF, Miami (Player option) Good shooter, he has to take a back seat in Miami. He will stay with Shaq.

Bonzi Wells, SG/SF, Sacramento- He showed in game 2 against the Spurs. He has plenty in the tank. Gas Prices are rising! So is Bonzi.

Nazr Mohammed, C, San Antonio - San Antonio has a system. He is a major part of their system. Nazr gives Duncan a rest.
Reggie Evans, PF, Denver - Tenacious rebounder, Lacks an offense game. But he can board board board. Plays hard.
Keith Van Horn, SF/PF, Dallas- Always injuried Always injuried. When he plays hard. He can stretch out the D.
Sam Cassell, PG, LA Clippers - Crafty veteran. Every team he goes too, he turns the team into a winner. A fierce competitor
Alonzo Mourning, Miami - Defense presence & blocks, He is not going anywhere. Stay with Shaq or sit in the rocking chair retired. Excellent career.
Fred Jones, Indiana (Restricted) Nice slasher. Needs to be more consistent. With more playing time could blossom.
Ruben Patterson, Denver (Player option) A Veteran player- plays hard. Head down player does not like to pass.
Bobby Jackson, PG/SG, Memphis - A solid veteran, excellent 6 man. He is a two guard in a point guard body.
Francisco Elson, Denver (Restricted) - A big man. Plays for his brother every night. But plays timid and is a BUM.

Playoffs are fast approaching!

Every year around this time ball fans start to analyze the NBA standings. They make their predictions on who is going to win it all and the always-eventful playoff run. After the crazy hangover of the youngsters at the Collegiate level. The real men play in May and June. Who hot? And Who Not? I know one thing for sure Shaq has loss a tremendous amount of weight. He has not looked this good since the Lakers 3 Peat run. Riley has one the weight battle with the “Big Fella”. Pistons look solid as usually FLIP and Chauncey have the team running like a well-oiled machine. Let's hope that Rasheed Wallace can stay out of foul trouble this time around. Cuban got the Mavs running strong. The best off season move was to bring in Avery Johnson. Avery can coach. Kobe is playing insane. He has no business putting this Laker team in the playoffs. Carmelo Anthony finally turned around his game. LA LA finally settled the B-more corner representative down.
Artest got Sac town to the playoffs. Nash is completely gross. He is a true point guard. He makes Boris Diaw look like a superstar.

Kobe's 81 Points! Did not come over night! Respect is earned never Given!

January, 22, 2006,. will go down in Basketball Forklore History. Kobe Bryant accomplished last night, the impossible. He mashed up the Raptors for 81 POINTS. Wilt Chamberlain must be looking down from above smiling and saying to himself. If only this kid can have SEX as many women as I did in my day. I know Jordan is chilling in his crib smoking a Cigar in his Cigar chamber in surburan Chicago calling Jeffery and Jaunita and telling them look what I taught the kid. I taught him the inside nuisance of the triangle this summer and how to avoid the zone. Kobe earned his respect last night, and will go down in history with the supreme massive and the streets as nasty nasty baller. People who be looking back 20 30 years from now and saying do you remember when Kobe dropped 81 ponts. Kobe learned from the master below. The pupil delivered last night. The scary thing about Kobe he likes to play D as well. Respect is earned never given. GP claims to have taught Kobe Defense. I think he figured it out by himself. Kobe works his ass off. He trains like a beast and he is just completely a student of the game. His 81 points just did not come over night. He studied the master and now putting his own variations to his legacy and cementing himself as one of the best player of his generation and all time. 81 points is unbelievable. David Thompson and Robinson are grining as well. It be a long time before anyone can come close to this massacre!

Look at Kobe taking flight on a Sunday game last year!

Look at old school Kobe taking flight in all-star game. Even Jay Kidd had to close his Eye. AI was in awe of what this kid could be come

Look Kobe taking flight in another all-star game. Head shoulders above the elite players

Look at Kobe having a war with the master. Kobe simply works He works harder than everyone else and a true student of the game

Now if you can only pass the ball to Odom and his teammates something real special might happen at the Staple center.

will be never be forgotten by me and the basketball supreme for the rest our lifes. KOBE KOBE KOBE KOBE KOBE
It will go down as one of the most magical nights of all time. Remember Respect is earned, never given. Kobe did not drop 81 points over night. He challenged the best, studied the best and perfected his game against the best. Thus having a unbreakable desire to try and become one of the best. His determination at times cannot be equaled by his contemparies. Kobe wants his own legacy on the hardwood and the streets. Never forget, While he was be inginterviewed on the court after the game he was holding his dear daughter at his side.

FIRST CAME JORDAN than came KOBE!! I am so blessed to see both in their primes!
